Celtic Seahorse - Pendant

This amulet was worn in former days to obtain inner calm and balance. This pendant is made of pewter. The word pewter is probably a variation of the word spelter, a colloquial name for the same metal. Pewter is a popular material for jewelry production, since it is a shiny, soft metal which is very malleable and has a good tarnish resistance.
