This old talisman originates from the magic book "Key of Solomon" which is said to have been written by the biblical king himself about 3000 years ago - in medieval times this charm has been extended using Christian symbols. In the middle of the amulet a sword, the symbol of the warrior, is shown impaling the letter S. The S stands for the Sun which is the focus of our life and thus figuratively also the center of human existence. Located above the S an oval can be found, symbolizing the sky across which the Sun moves. And finally a crown is situated at the upper end of the sword symbolizing the all-embracing power of God who watches over the existence of all people. The two crosses to the left and right of the sword are Templar Crosses, in this case standing for the visible and invisible world and the four directions. According to old belief the wearer of this medieval fortune charm attains abundance and riches and gains more strength and influence in life through the help of God.
